THE GERMAN ALPINE ASSOCIATION was founded in 1869 and with approximately 650,000 members is the world's largest association of mountaineers.
It is the main Alpine organisation in Germany and is commited to specialised mountaineering training, sustainable development and environmental protection, as well as preserving the culture of the Alpine community.The promotion and integration of the youth is a main priority for the DAV.
The JDAV of Bad Hindelang/Allgäu will be represented in the project. Their participation is due to the commitment of the DAV to youth education and Outdoor Learning over the past 25 years. The JDAV has a highly experienced and skilled team of trainers.
